Where to see the birds:
- Grønningen and Hamborg Dyb – an extensive stretch of meadows where you can see lapwings, redshanks, herons, curlews and even peregrine falcons.
- Nordby Harbour – at low tide, a dry area of mud flat known as Næs Søjord appears.
Here you can see many wading birds, Brent Geese, cormorants and eider.
- The beach - you can spot all kinds of birds on the southern end of the beach.
Throughout winter, you can see large numbers of small birds.
- The tidal flats – a great many wading birds. A couple of hours before or after
high tide, you can see the birds close to the coast.
