Birding Hotspots

Where to see the birds:

1. From Sydladen, there is a fine view out
   over Værnsande. There is public access to
   the Værnengene and Bjålum Klit areas
   along the indicated roads and paths.
   
2. From the “Store Mjøl” dune, there is an
   expansive view of the entire area.
   
3. The birdwatching tower by the car park
   at the northern end of Værnsande. As
   the birds in Værnesande are a long way
   away, you will need a pair of powerful
   binoculars.
   
4. An information and observation room
   has been set up at Nordladen.
   
5. Fahl Kro at the south-east end of
   Værneengene also has a nature exhibition.
