Birding Hotspots

Where to see the birds:

1. From the dike to the north of the nature
   reserve, there is a fine view over Vesterenge.
   
2. From the hide north of Hestholm Lake,
   you can see birds on the lake, islets and
   sand banks.
   
3. From the tower between Hestholm and
   Øster Hestholm, you can observe the wet
   meadows and Hestholm Sø lake.
   
4. From the hide by Lønborggårdsvej, you
   can watch the birds in the wetlands and
   meadows all year round.
   
5. Hide with facilities for disabled people.
   From here, you can see large areas of
   Hestholm, Vesterenge and Østre Enge.
   
6. At the Hestholm car park, you can get
   right up close to the birds all year round.
